Cupping.com is a trading name of Saturn Business Ltd, registered in England & Wales (Company No. 12478173), 90 Calvert Lane, Hull, HU4 6BJ (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for personal data collected through cupping.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

  • Order and account details: name, billing and delivery address, email, phone number and order history.
  • Payment information: processed securely by our payment providers (such as Shopify Payments, PayPal and Klarna). We do not store full card details.
  • Communications: emails, messages and contact-form enquiries you send us.
  • Marketing preferences: if you subscribe to our newsletter.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, and how you use our website, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

We do not ask for health or medical information. Please don't send us details about your health unless you need to in order to ask a question, and only share what is necessary.

How and why we use it

  • To process, deliver and support your orders, including passing delivery details to the suppliers and couriers who dispatch your goods (performance of a contract).
  • To answer your questions and provide product guidance (legitimate interests / contract).
  • To meet legal obligations such as tax and accounting records (legal obligation).
  • To prevent fraud and keep our website secure (legitimate interests).
  • To send you our newsletter and offers, only where you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time (consent).
  • To understand how our website is used and improve it, using analytics cookies where you have consented (consent).

Who we share it with

We share personal data only as needed with: Shopify (our e-commerce platform), payment providers, the suppliers and couriers who fulfil your order, email and analytics providers, and our professional advisers. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement are in place. We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep order and transaction records for 6 years after the end of the financial year in which they were created, to meet tax and legal requirements. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Other data is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes above.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email info@cupping.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, although we'd appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
